Poetical address from the ladies of the cabinet ministers to Bartolomeo Bergami, knight of the bath of Malta and of St. Caroline, 1820.

This anonymous lampoon, dated Cork, [Ireland], 1820, written in iambic pentameter couplets, is one of many directed at Queen Caroline at the time when George IV and his ministers were trying to arrange the divorce. She was accused of adultery with Baron Bartolomeo Bergami. The poem changes the name slightly and praises "Pergami" for his extreme sexual prowess, ending with a wish that Castlereagh had the same energy for his job.
